Traveler APIs

Published places and public calendar context. No login, API key or origin registration required. Public event discovery is not available yet.

Quick start and response guide

Start with Places: open GET /public/catalog/config, choose Try it out, keep tenant=demo-coast and select Execute. Use demo-harbor or demo-river for the other demo cities.

Read your result: Server response is the actual result of Execute. The Responses section below it lists possible outcomes and illustrative examples; a 404 or 503 example there does not mean your request failed.

Use data safely: follow list cursors until hasMore=false, even when a page is empty. Place IDs are opaque; use returned IDs, not display names. Calendar is a separate definition in the selector below.

Shared usage limits: nonprod discovery allows 10 requests/second per route, burst 20, shared across consumers. These are not per-developer quotas or hard cost caps. On 429/503, use bounded backoff with jitter and honor Retry-After when present. Gateway failures may appear as browser network errors. Do not continuously poll or retry without a limit.
